If I could sum up my life in one word it would be “Curiosity”, or “Knowledge”…or “Discovery”. Or “Change”. Ok, so maybe I can’t sum up a life in one word. Maybe because ever since I was a child I have been interested in the world around me and the Universe as a whole. I loved books about animals, geography, puzzles and especially astronomy. The modern focuses of politics, economics and celebrity gossip could never catch my attention the way a clear night sky on an expansive beach at somewhere like Wilsons Promontory could. Or how I could watch the world spinning as the sun set over the horizon. Wondering at the millions of years that went into creating coastline or mountains was much more appealing than the ever changing focus of media and entertainment.

This wonder and curiosity combined with wanderlust to see all that I could has brought with it an inevitable desire to capture this beautiful world through photography. The more places I visited, the more cultures I came to understand, drove my passion to create images that portrayed the splendour before me and the raw emotion it evoked.

I see my photography as an expression of my thoughts and philosophies. It is a description and physical representation of my life as a passage through time and development as a Human. Through this life I endeavour to never stop learning, whether it is in photography, science, my own personality, or existence as a whole.
